Connect Flowglad MCP - instructions for AI agents

If a task needs Flowglad and its tools aren’t available, set the connection up yourself now. Don’t stop and tell the user to do it.

Server URL: https://dashboard.flowglad.com/api/mcp
Remote MCP (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth. No API key, token, or secret. Never put credentials in the URL.

No account needed first. The authorization page lets the user sign in or sign up, then pick an organization and approve access.

1. Add the server

Reuse an existing entry for this URL if one exists. Keep the user’s other servers and settings.

Claude Desktop / claude.ai: you can’t add it yourself. Tell the user: Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add Custom Connector → name Flowglad, paste the URL, Add.
ChatGPT: tell the user: chat.com/plugins → Add → Create MCP App → name Flowglad, paste the URL.
Other clients: add the URL as a remote Streamable HTTP server, then run the client’s OAuth login.

2. Authorize

Run one OAuth flow at a time and let the client open the browser. Open the link yourself only if no page opens. Keep the login process running until the user finishes, and don’t start a second one.

Claude Code: tell the user to run /mcp, select flowglad, then choose Authenticate.
Codex: codex mcp login flowglad (if add didn’t already start it).
Cursor: agent mcp login flowglad, or Settings → Tools & MCP → Connect.

Tell the user: “Sign in, or create an account if you’re new. Then choose your organization and approve access.”

3. Verify and resume

New MCP tools usually load only in a new session. If Flowglad tools aren’t visible yet, ask the user to start a new conversation (in Claude Code, restart claude).
Confirm the connection by listing the user’s Flowglad Spaces.
If the user came from a Flowglad template, continue that setup. If you started a new session, ask them to paste the template prompt again.

If something fails

“Authorization request is no longer valid”: restart the login from the client.
